An appointment is required for the following consular services. Appointment registration is available here.

• Processing documents for the replacement and issuance of Lithuanian passports and/or ID card. More information here.
• Issuance of a European Union Emergency Travel Document (EU-ETD). More information here.

Consular Certificates. Issuance of certificates regarding driver’s license data, criminal record, marital status, declared place of residence, etc. The documents can also be submitted by post. More information can be found here.

Civil Status Registration. Registration of birth, marriage, divorce, and death in Lithuania (without submitting a passport application). More information can be found here.

Name or Surname Change (for reasons unrelated to marriage or divorce). More information can be found here. 

Civil Status Extracts. Official extracts certifying records such as birth, marriage, divorce, death, and name/surname changes. The documents can also be submitted by post. More information can be found here here.

Request for Documents from Lithuanian Institutions. Examples include: Certificate from the Civil Registry Office confirming the absence of obstacles to marriage with Apostille or legalized. Certificate or extract from the Register of Suspected, Accused, and Convicted Persons of the Information Technology and Communications Department under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania with Apostille or legalized. Other notarial services (signature certification in the statement to 'Sodra' regarding the extension of pension payments (more information here); signature certification in the consent for a child traveling from Lithuania to other foreign countries (more information here); certification of the authenticity of document copies).

You can apply for these services without registration during the following consular reception hours: Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Friday: 1.30 PM - 3.00 PM.
