Visa centres in UK
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland cooperates with the external service provider VF Services (UK) Ltd.
Applications for Schengen Visa and National visa for Students to visit Lithuania can be submitted at Visa Application Centres in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff. Further information can be found on VF Services (UK) Ltd. website – https://www.vfsglobal.com/Lithuania/UK/
Family members of EU citizens applying to travel together with their EU/EEA family to Lithuania or join their EU/EEA family member in Lithuania are able to submit a Schengen visa application in VFS Global visa centers in London, Manchester and Edinburgh by walk in: Monday - Friday between 8.45am to 10am (except public holidays).
Do I need a visa to Lithuania?
There is no need to apply for visa at the Embassy of Lithuania, if you:
- are citizen of countries, whose citizens do not require visas to enter Lithuania;
- already have a valid Schengen visa;
- are recognised as a refugee in accordance with the 1951 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, or stateless person under the terms of the 1954 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Stateless Persons, or other person who do not hold the nationality of any country, residing in a Member State and holding a travel document issued by the Member State, including the United Kingdom.
Family members of EU citizens who are directly covered by Directive 2004/38/EC on the right of citizens of the EU and their family members to move and reside freely within the territory of the Member States are eligible to submit a Schengen visa application to the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in London by arranging a visit in advance.

If you fall under any of these categories, you may travel to Lithuania without a visa, but your travel document has to be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure from the territory of the Schengen area.

National visa to Lithuania
If you intend to stay in the Republic of Lithuania for more than 90 days within 180 days, you must acquire National visa (D).
After the changes in the Law on the Legal Status of Foreigners came into effect on 1 July, Lithuanian consulates abroad cease to process applications for issuance of national visas. Applications for national visas hereafter by the foreigners, who are not in Lithuania, can be submitted only through the external service provider chosen by the Migration Department under the Ministry of Interior. National visa (D) may be issued to a foreigner, whose purpose is long stay in the Republic of Lithuania. National visa is issued for a period no longer than 12 months.
