General information for conscripts of the Republic of Lithuania living abroad

A person liable for military service (a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania who has not been exempted from military obligations) who leaves to reside in a foreign country for a period longer than 6 months must immediately inform the regional division of the Military Conscription and Recruitment Service in the area where they lived before departing, and provide their actual place of residence abroad as well as contact information. This information is necessary in order to contact persons liable for military service in the event of mobilization or conscription for mandatory military service.

Notification of your actual place of residence abroad and other contact information, together with a scanned or photographed copy of an identity document (passport or identity card), must be sent to the regional division of the Military Conscription and Recruitment Service.
