LITHUANIAN ROBOTS CAME TO LONDON
As part of the Lithuanian EU Presidency programme in the UK, the Lithuanian Scientists are participating at the Science Museum's Robot Safari EU festival 27 Nov– 1 Dec 2013.
The festival will focus on biomimetic robots. A temporary exhibition space will be transformed into a fantastic landscape inhabited by a variety of robots based on animals and plants, including a robot salamander, robotic cheetah cub, robot fish and bat bot. Kaunas University of Technology will present Robo Spyder, which moves like a real spider and reacts to its environment, including both sound and obstacles. The robot has also been designed for youngsters to learn how to program and assemble robots.
