LITHUANIAN ANIMATION RETROSPECTIVE IN BARBICAN
27th October Everyone is warmly invited to the Lithuanian Animation Retrospective event that is part of the London International Animation Festival at the Barbican. This retrospective, spanning almost 100 years and lovingly put together by animation historian Dasa Vanova, features puppet, hand-drawn, cutout, (accordion) and shadow theatre techniques and computer generated films with a very dark streak of humour running throughout. Organiser: London International Animation Festival in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
