General information regarding Visas

Visa centres are opened in UK

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland started cooperation with the external service provider VF Services (UK) Ltd.

Applications for Schengen Visa to visit Lithuania can also be submitted at Visa Application Centres in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff. Further information can be found on VF Services (UK) Ltd. website – https://www.vfsglobal.com/Lithuania/UK/

• If you intend to stay in the Republic of Lithuania for more than 90 days within 180 days, you must acquire National visa (D).
  • A single-entry national visa can be issued to a foreign national who has been granted a temporary or permanent residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania.
  • A multiple-entry national visa can be issued to a foreign national whose purpose is long-term stay in the Republic of Lithuania.

• All persons wishing to apply for visas to visit Lithuania must make an appointment online in advance.
• Applicants must not attend the Embassy without an appointment. This also applies to applicants using Electronic Visa Application form.
• Applicants are encouraged to use Electronic Visa Application form. Fully completed and signed visa applications together with supporting documents can only be submitted by an applicant in person on
