Violeta Urmana, Simon Rattle and Wagner at BBC Proms

1 August, 2010. Two of today’s leading Wagner singers, Violeta Urmana and Ben Heppner, will be featured at this year’s BBC Proms season. Together with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, conducted by Simon Rattle, they will perform Act 2 from Richard Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde (together with the Love Scene from Hector Berlioz Romeo and Juliet in the first part of the concert).
