TRADITIONAL LITVAK DAYS CONTINUE IN LONDON

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania, continuing the Lithuanian EU Presidency programme, together with London Metropolitan Archives and Westminster Synagogue began traditional “Litvak Days in London” on 1-2 December 2013.
The second part of the cycle of events was organised at London Metropolitan Archives on 2nd December 2013, where archivists and historians researching the largest Litvak communities in London and Manchester had an opportunity to view a vast collection of the migration documents, telling a story of the émigré journey from Lithuania to Britain between 1880s – 1930s.
