 On Monday, 5th December, 2011 The First Lithuanian-UK Business conference took place at the new premises of the Lithuanian Embassy in London.The conference has been organized by the Lithuanian Embassy in the UK in cooperation with Enterprise Lithuania, Invest in Lithuania, Lithuanian City of London Club, Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in the UK and the British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania. It has attracted over 200 participants representing a plethora of industries such as food, textile, lasers, IT, banking, space industry and many more as well as science and academic spheres.

The panel was led Mr Chris Butler, Managing partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Board and the Chairman of British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania and included the speakers:

The Lithuanian Ambassador to the UK Dr Oskaras Jusys noted in his welcoming speech that the conference is a natural result/continuation of the meetings between British and the Nordic-Baltic Prime Ministers that took place earlier this year. Dr Jusys stressed that collaboration between British and Lithuanian entrepreneurs, scientists and academics have always been and will always be of the top embassy’s priorities. The first time organized Lithuanian-UK Business Conference has not only provided an excellent opportunity for introducing the latest information on the Lithuanian economic policy business environment for the investors in the UK but has also become a great occasion for individual meetings between current and future business partners.
