TASTE OF LITHUANIA WILL BE PRESENTED AT TASTE LONDON IN ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR
Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in the UK (LCCUK) and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland are delighted to present Taste of Lithuania at the world’s most famous food and drink festival at London’s Regent’s Park from 20th to 23rd June 2013.
Ms. Olga Jachimovic, the President of LCCUK says “This festival is a must-visit event for everyone, who loves good food, searches for new destinations and is looking for a great day out”.
For the first time Taste of London visitors will see the introduction of Lithuania. Located at the highly prominent location with close proximity to the entrance of the event, Taste of Lithuania will surely be a place not to be missed.
All foodies will be invited to indulge themselves with delicious Lithuanian foods. A wide variety of traditional cheeses, meats, breads and sweets will be available onsite. Visitors will not only be able to try quality traditional tastes at the festival but also take their favourites home.
Lithuanian Bar will be another must-visit place at the event. Bar zone will be a place to relax and socialise while enjoying cold Lithuanian beer, cider or tasting traditional spirits.
The entertainment, including folk dances, traditional music and ethnographic handicrafts will create unique spirit of Lithuanian throughout the whole event. Visitors will be invited to challenge themselves in basketball, known as second Lithuanian religion. Tourism office stand will show how beautiful Lithuania is and what it can offer to any traveller: spa weekend, canoeing around green landscapes, city break, or romantic weekend indulging yourself in world class opera and delicious restaurant dining, you name it.
