Robertas Šervenikas conducts Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Lithuanian conductor Robertas Šervenikas conducts Royal Philharmonic Orchestra featuring Beethoven’s famous Egmont overture, Shostakovich’s first concerto from the 1930s is preceded by the eagerly awaited premiere of the Piano Concerto by British composer Peter Fribbins, well known for his dramatic and memorably melodic musical style.

The piano soloist is the young Croatian-German rising star Diana Brekalo – joined by trumpeter Angela Whelan in the Shostakovich.
Robertas Šervenikas is one of the most sought-after conductors in Lithuania, who conducts majority of repertoire with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
