PRANAS GAILIUS' EXHIBITION AT THE LITHUANIAN EMBASSY
19th September The Lithuanian artist Pranas Gailius will be opening his first exhibition, consisting of graphic work, in London. He left Lithuania during the Second World War Pranas Gailius (b.1928) and went to Strasbourg where he attended art school. Later on he studied with Fernand Lèger and then at the National School of Fine Arts (École des Beaux-Arts) in Paris. The artist has participated in a number of international exhibitions all over the world. Wednesday 19th September, 7pm Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania, 2 Bessborough Gardens, London SW1V 2JE.
