Pianist Kasparas Uinskas and violinist Nikita Boriso-Glebsky to perform at London Wigmore Hall
Two virtuosos and distinguished musicians, violinist Nikita Boriso-Glebsky and pianist Kasparas Uinskas, will appear together for the first time at Wigmore Hall on the 4th of June 7:30 pm. Together they will perform interesting program, full of passion, storm and colors. Program includes pieces by Poulenc, Wagner, Prokofiev and Elgar.
Violinist Boriso-Glebsky and pianist Uinskas had their debut as a duo few years ago, when they toured in Brazil, Norway and Belgium. Boriso-Glebsky is a prize-winner of some of the violin’s major competitions, including the International Jean Sibelius, Fritz Kreisler, Tchaikovsky, Queen Elisabeth, and Monte Carlo Violin Masters competition. Internationally acclaimed pianist Kasparas Uinskas has performed at major concert halls, including New York’s Carnegie Hall, Berlin’s Philharmonie, Wigmore Hall and many others.

Nikita Boriso-Glebsky's rise to prominence came in 2010 when he won the International Jean Sibelius Violin competition and the International Fritz Kreisler Violin Competition. He has also been awarded top prizes in the eight other prestigious violin competitions including the Tchaikovsky, the Queen Elisabeth and the Montreal Music competitions. In 2013, the musician won landslide victory in the Monte Carlo Violin Masters in Monaco, which brought him new engagements and invitations, including a recital at the Salle Gaveau in Paris in March 2014. The violinist has performed with many major orchestras, including the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, Helsinki Philharmonic, Moscow Philharmonic, Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Brussels Philharmonic, Kansai Philharmonic, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Goethenburg Symphoniker, Antwerpen Royal Philharmonic, London Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra “Musica Viva”, Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia.
Kasparas Uinskas is an internationally acclaimed pianist, praised by critics for his virtuosity and romantic style. Mr. Uinskas is performing at most important world concert halls - New York's Carnegie Hall, Berlin Philharmonie, London Wigmore Hall, Madrid Auditorio Nacional, J. F.
