PARALYMPIC GAMES NEWS OF 31 AUGUST

Today the long jump athlete Ramunė Adomaitienė jumped 4,67 m and was 4th in the final rank.

The swimmer Kęstutis Skučas was 13th in the 50 m freestyle heats and did not reach the finals.

The goalball team easily defeated Finland 10 to 0.

The transport of London warns that Saturday is going to be the busiest day of the Paralympic Games. Please consult the Get Ahead Of The Games website before planning your journey.

Tomorrow, 1 September, our goalball team is fighting against the Brazilian team at 11.30 am.

Also, tomorrow, 1 September, the athlete Irena Perminienė is participating in the shot put at 7.05 pm. Irena was 6th in Beijing Games and 4th in World's Championship in New Zealand in 2011.
