PARALYMPIC GAMES NEWS OF 30 AUGUST

Today Lithuanian Goalball team defeated Great Britain 11 to 1. Genrikas Pavliukianecas scored four points, Marius Zibolis - three points, and both Mantas Panovas and Arvydas Juchna scored two points each. Lithuanians already hold the silver medal from the Pekin Paralympic Games.

Tomorrow Lithuanian Goalball team will play against Finland at 10.15 am.

Also, tomorrow Long Jump finals will begin at 10.15 am. Ramunė Adomaitienė who ahieved the World Record and was first at IWAS World Games in UAE in 2011 is participating.

Finally, the swimmer Kęstutis Skučas will swim in 50 m freestyle heats at 11.47 am. If successful, he will continue in the finals at 8.46 pm. Kęstutis already holds a silver medal in 50 m backstroke from Athens Paralympic Games in 2004. He was first at IWAS World Games in UAE in 50 m freestyle in 2011.
