“On Road of Life and Death” Run to be held in London
On 9th January, Saturday, 10 AM for 11AM start the Embassy of Lithuania in the UK cordially invites you to join London Lithuanian Community in the 5.5 mile run in Parsloes Park, Dagenham. The run commemorates the 25th anniversary of bloodshed at Lithuanian TV station when 14 people were killed and hundreds wounded by the Soviet military as Moscow continued its crackdown on Lithuania and its drive for independence.
What is known as traditional “On Road of Life and Death” run is held every January in Vilnius. This year for the first time a number of cities with Lithuanian diaspora population joins in.
Run in Dagenham and make history!
