OLYMPIC GAMES NEWS OF 3 AUGUST
Results from yesterday:
Baskteball – Lithuania lost against France 74:82
Rowing – R.Mascinskas and S.Ritter got the 6th place in the finals, D.Vistartaite was 5th in the semi-finals, did not get into the finals but will compete for the 7-12 places.
Boxing – E.Petrauskas won against his opponent and got into the quarter-finals.
Today's schedule:
Boxing – 3:15pm Egidijus Kavaliauskas will compete with British athlete Evans Freddie.
Sailing – G.Scheidt and R.Milevicius 12:00pm - 6pm.
Cycling – S.Krupeckaite keirin 4pm 1st round, 6:40pm finals.
Judo – 10:05am M.Paskevicus will compete with N.Fiakaifonu.
Athletics – 10:05am A.Skujyte starts hepthathlon with 100m hurdle races, 10:40am L.Grinčikaitė will run 100m. 7:10pm Zinaida Sedriute will participate in the discus throw qualification, 7:50pm Povilas Mykolatis will participate in the long jump.
Tomorrow's schedule:
Basketball - Lithuania-USA 2.30pm
Sailing – G.Scheidt 12pm – 6pm
Rowing – 11:00am D.Vistartaite will compete for the 7-12th places.
Athletics – 10:00am R.Sakalauskas will run 100m, 10:05am A.Skujyte will participate in a long jump competition and 8:35pm will run 800m. 5pm M.Ziukas will walk 20km.
