OLYMPIC GAMES NEWS OF 2 AUGUST
Results from yesterday:
Sailing – after 6 rounds G.Scheidt is 6th, R.Milevicius is 37th. After 4 rounds J.Bernotas is 8th.
Cycling – In the 44km track race R.Navardauskas got the 21st place.
Judo – K.Bauza lost to his opponent Iliasas Iliadis and finished his competition in the Olympics.
Rowing – M.Griskonis was 5th in the semi-finals and did not get into the finals.
Swimming – R.Meilutyte did not get into the semi-finals, V.Janusaitis was 13th in the semi-finals and did not get into the finals.
Todays's schedule:
Baskteball – Lithuania lost against France 74:82
Rowing – R.Mascinskas and S.Ritter got the 6th place in the finals, D.Vistartaite was 5th in the semi-finals, did not get into the finals but will compete for the 7-12 places.
Boxing - E.Petrauskas 60 kg will compete 1:30pm-3:30pm and 8.30pm-10.30pm.
Tomorrow's schedule:
Boxing – 3:15pm Egidijus Kavaliauskas will compete with British athlete Evans Freddie.
Sailing – G.Scheidt and R.Milevicius 12:00pm - 6pm.
Cycling – S.Krupeckaite keirin 4pm 1st round, 6:40pm finals.
Judo – 10:05am M.Paskevicus will compete with N.Fiakaifonu.
Athletics – 10:05am A.Skujyte starts hepthathlon with 100m hurdle races, 7:10pm Zinaida Sedriute will participate in the discus throw qualification, 7:50pm Povilas Mykolatis will participate in the long jump.
