RESULTS OF FRIDAY, 10 AUGUST
Canoe sprint – E.Balciunas finished in the 9th place in the Kayak Single. J.Suklinas got into the finals in the Canoe Single.
Boxing – E.Petrauskas did not reach the finals, however, he already has got the bronze medal.
SCHEDULE OF SATURDAY, 11TH OF AUGUST (LONDON TIME)
Canoe sprint – J.Suklinas won the silver medal in the Canoe Single finals.
Athletics – 09:00am T.Suskevicius will participate in the 50km walk. Also, at 5pm K.Saltanovic, B.Virbalyte and N.Aidietyte will participate in the 20km walk. At 7pm A.Palsyte will participate in the high jump finals.
Modern pentathlon - J.Kinderis will start his performance in the Olympics. 08:45am – fencing, 1:20pm – swimming, 3.20pm – riding, 6:45pm – combined event consisting of running and shooting.
SCHEDULE OF SUNDAY, 12TH OF AUGUST (LONDON TIME)
Modern pentathlon – L.Asadauskaite and G.Venckauskaite will start their performances in the Olympics. 08:00am – fencing, 12:35pm – swimming, 2:35pm – riding, 6pm – combined events consisting of running and shooting.
9pm – Olympics Closing Ceremony. Even though the Closing Ceremony is more about celebrating achievements of the
athletes, the show is promised to be spectacular. The theme is going to be ‘A Symphony of British Music’ and more than
4100 performers are going to take part in the show. The Closing Ceremony will include extinguishing of the Olympic Flame, signaling the end of the Games, and also the Handover from one Host City to the next, which is going to be Rio de Janeiro.
