OLYMPIC GAMES NEWS OF 1 AUGUST
Yesterday's results of the Lithuanian athletes:
Basketball – Lithuanian team won against Nigeria 72:53.
Swimming – In 200 m semifinals G.Titenis was 11th and did not get into the finals. In 100 m freestyle semifinals M.Sadauskas was also 11th and did not get into the finals.
Sailing – after 4 rounds G.Scheidt remains 7th. After 2 races J.Bernotas was 12th and after 4 races R.Milevicius remains 37th.
Rowing – M.Griskonis was third in his group in the quarter-finals and managed to get into the semi-finals. R.Mascinskas and S.Ritter were second in their group and got into finals that are going to take place on Thursday. D.Vistartaite was 9th in the women’s single sculls quarter-finals and got into the semi-finals.

Sailing - G.Scheidt, J. Bernotas and R.Milevičius 1 pm -7 pm.
Cycling (road) - 2:15 pm - 4:05 pm
Judo- 90 kg K.Bauža 9:30am and2:00 pm
Rowing - (if successful) M.Griškonis semi-finals 11:20 am
Swimming– 11:43 am V.Janušaitis will have a qualification swim and semifinals at 8:37 pm. Rūta Meilutytė has a qualification swim in 100 m freestyle at 10 am.
On Thursday the following games are taking place (local BST time):
Basketball - 9.00 pm Lithuania-France
Boxing- E.Petrauskas 60 kg 1:30 pm -3:30 pm and 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Rowing- R.Maščinskas and S.Ritter finals 9:50 am. D.Vištartaitė semifinals 9:30 am or 11:10 am
