MUSIC INSTALLATION "SANDGLASSES" WILL BE PRESENTED IN GLASGOW

8th – 9th November: The talented Lithuanian artist and composer Justė Janulytė will present her unique music installation Sandglasses as part of the sonic arts festival Sonica in Glasgow. Sandglasses is a living musical installation that combines four cellos, live electronics and video. Created in collaboration with video artist Luca Scarzella, set designer Juratė Paulėkaitė (1962 – 2011) and lighting designer Eugenijus Sabaliauskas, and performed by the Gaida Ensemble. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj9r5__a4HU. Following the performance at Sonica, Sandglasses will travel to the Lincoln Centre inWashington. Supported by the Lithuanian Culture Fund.
