MOBILE CONSULAR STATION IN SCOTLAND
On 7-8 November 2013 Lithuanian Embassy in London opened a mobile consular station in Edinburgh. Approximately 75 people booked appointments to visit Counsellor Ugnius Labutis and Consular Officer Gediminas Radžius. The mission allowed provision of the first hand professional expertise to Lithuanians living in Scotland. Enquiries were varied and diverse – from processing passport applications and issuing certificates, to advise about where to get married.
The Embassy intends to organise these missions in the future, covering more remote areas in the UK. Follow information on the Embassy’s website and social media channels.
