LITHUANIAN TOURISM AND INFORMATION CENTRE OPENED IN LONDON

  Lithuanian Tourism and Information Centre was opened in London on 7th November 2006. The State Secretary of the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy Mr Gediminas Miškinis, who participated in the opening of the Centre, stressed the importance of economic relations between the UK and Lithuania. Lithuanian Ambassador in London H.E.Mr Vygaudas Usackas said that the new sentence was written down into the relations of Lithuania and United Kingdom as the Tourism Centre introduces Lithuania as well as promotes better knowledge about the country and its historical heritage, diverse culture, modern spas.

The London Tourism and Information Centre is the 6th Tourism Centre of Lithuania in the World.

The address is 86 Gloucester Place, London (nearest tube Baker Street). Ms Indre Trakimaite is the director of the Tourism and Information Centre.

The commercial attaché Ms Olga Stravinskiene also moved to the same office.
