Lithuanian Honorary Consulate opens in Kent

May 6th, 2016. Lithuanian Honorary consulate has been officially opened in Kent. The inauguration ceremony at historic Ingress Abbey mansion house was attended by many distinguished guests from local and the UK Lithuanian communities. The opening included a concert of classical music performed by pianist Rimantas Vingras.

“I am delighted to open a new Lithuanian Honorary Consulate in this historic mansion. I anticipate it will serve as a basis to further expand economic and trade relations between Lithuania and Kent”, the Lithuanian Ambassador Asta Skaisgirytė said.

The Honorary Consul for Lithuania in Kent is Sam Malin.
