LITHUANIAN AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES EU PRIORITIES PRESENTED AT THE ROYAL AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE 100 CLUB

On 11 October 2013 the Ambassador of Lithuania Asta Skaisgirytė Liauškienė participated in the Royal Agricultural College 100 Club annual luncheon, which every year attracts over a hundred of prominent figures in the agriculture industry as well as high calibre speakers.

The Ambassador in her key speech presented the Lithuanian EU Presidency priorities in the Agriculture and Fisheries Council, including the finalisation of the Common Agricultural Policy reform in the EU. "It is a great opportunity for us to forge closer links between the Lithuanian and the UK agri-food industries and universities with a focus on agriculture", said the Ambassador.
