KALININGRAD ROUNDTABLE
Lithuanian Embassy organised a high-level roundtable meeting on the subject of Kaliningrad. It took place on Monday 29 January at RUSI with Dr Raimundas Lopata, Director at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at the University of Vilnius. Dr Lopata is an acknowledged author on the Kaliningrad question. He is widely published on the issue and during his career has served in both the Lithuanian Prime Minister’s Office and as a member of the Experts Group for negotiations between Lithuania and Russia. The discussion focused on the future role that Kaliningrad might play in European relations with Russia. The book "Anatomy of a Hostage:Kaliningrad Anniversary Case" by Raimundas Lopata was presented for the Biritsh experts as well.
