JANUARY 13 COMMEMORATION

Lithuanian Community together with the Embassy commemorated the sad events that happened 16 years ago when Red Army attacked the Vilnius TV tower on the night of January 13, 1991, an act that resulted in the death of 14 Lithuanian civilians. The Holy Mass was held at Lithuanian RC St. Casmir’s Church. It was followed by the speech of the Ambassador H.E. Mr Vygaudas Ušackas and the concert of the London Lithuanian folklore group „Saduto“.
