INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN LITHUANIA PRESENTED IN LONDON

On 17 -19 May the Vice Minister of Finance Mr. Rolandas Kriščiūnas attended the annual EBRD summit in London.

During his visit, the Vice Minister participated in the informal discussion organised by the Embassy in the UK where together with general managers of “Invest Lithuania” and “Enterprise Lithuania” he presented the investment opportunities in Lithuania to the leaders of Hitachi, UBS, Goldman Sachs, Southerland Global, Barclays, Jefferies, and Nomura.

As the Lithuanian ambassador to the UK Dr Oskaras Jusys noted, the discussions were of high importance to the leaders of the international companies that are looking for investment opportunities and desire to learn about countries’ advantages firsthand. “Our goal is to attract as many new investments as we can and increase the number of new job opportunities in Lithuania”, said the Ambassador.

On May 19 the Vice Minister met with the directors of JP Morgan and delivered the presentations in the investors forums organised by JP Morgan and EBRD.
