INNOVATIONS AND HITECH DISCUSSED AT THE EMBASSY
On 5 December 2013 Ambassador of Lithuania Asta Skaisgirytė Liauškienė welcomed the participants of the conference “Entrepreneurship and Startups in the European Union: Challenges and Opportunities”, organised at the Lithuanian Embassy in London.
In her speech, Ambassador said, that “it is important to foster business investments in research and development in order to bridge the gap between business and science, research and commerce. My country strives to build an economy based on high technology and innovations. And we are making steps in the right direction”.
The event was moderated by Professor Gary Dushnitsky, London Business School and the panellists included Daniel Godfrey, Investment Management Association, Daumantas Dvilinskas, TransferGo, Kornelijus Čelutka, Baltcap and Richard Jordan, KL Gates and focused on the main driver of growth in the EU – innovation.
