Holocaust in Lithuania to be commemorated with Vilna Ghetto songs

Each September Lithuania commemorates the Day of the Holocaust in Lithuania. The brutality of WWII swept the country during 1941-1944 and once a vibrant Lithuanian Jewish (Litvak) community had been compelled to almost complete annihilation.
On September 22, 2016 at 6.30 for 7PM start you are cordially invited to the Embassy of Lithuania in London to commemorate the Shoah in Lithuania with Vilna Ghetto songs.
The special guest of the Day is Ms Judita Leitaitė, one of the most celebrated contemporary Lithuanian soloists of Chamber music. The concert will be followed by the traditional candle-lighting ceremony to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust in Lithuania.
