Great battles of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania to be discussed at the embassy

The Grand Duchy of Lithuania was destined to engage in numerous military campaigns. Surrounded by nascent superpowers of that time, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth had emerged victorious in plenty of battles while defeats suffered would also shape the collective memory of many generations to come. The Great Battles of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and how they have been remembered, the topic chosen by three distinguished historians will be discussed at the Lithuanian Embassy on February 27th.
