Exhibition "Hello, Paris! The Path of Litvak Artists"

You are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibition "Hello, Paris! The Path of Litvak Artists". Please join us for the private view on 11 November 2014, at 6.30 p.m. Europe House, 32 Smith Square, London SW1P 3EU. RSVP: agnieszka.piela@ext.ec.europa.eu „Hello, Paris! The Path of Litvak Artists“ is an exhibition of works by 6 famous Litvak artists, members of the École de Paris. The artists Pinchus Krémègne, Michael Kikoïne, Theo Tobiasse, Emmanuel Mané-Katz, Max Band and Neemiya Arbit Blatas formed a new trend of French expressionism in art and enriched the artistic expression of modern European art.            

The Lewben Art Foundation is a non-governmental institution, established by the Lewben Group, an international company. This art foundation has accumulated a representative collection of Lithuanian and international art from the end of the 18th century to the present day, and makes it accessible to the public. The Lewben Art Foundation organises exhibitions and publishes books on art. It has established the Lithuanian Expatriate Art Foundation, which seeks to explore systematically the art of the diaspora and return it to the homeland. The Lewben Art Foundation is constantly supplementing its activities with new cultural and educational projects, as well as new cultural initiatives. In 2013 Lewben Art Foundation became a partner in such projects as artnews.lt, artbooks.lt, Kita/fotografija, and Echo Gone Wrong.
