Exhibition About The Emigration "From Your Diary"
The exhibition "From Your Diary" will take place on the 12-14th of December. It is a collaboration project between Lithuanian Agnė Rita Kučinskaitė and Giulia Parlato.
The series discuss the theme of emigration. BA Photography students at London College of Communication are contemplating what does the word "home" mean and what is the life between two countries like. G. Parlato creates self-portraits and explores the meaning of the space when capturing herself in Italy and UK. Agnė Rita Kučinskaitė, on the other hand, takes photographs of the daily surroundings and the solitude occurred. Even though the artists are using different approaches towards the same theme, but loneliness, loss of people/places, feelings of anticipation and resignation are important to both of them.
