Energy Security issues discussed at the Embassy
On 2 June, 2014 the Lithuanian Embassy in London together with the Windsor Energy Group organized a joint round table discussion on Energy Security in Europe.
30 representatives of various sectors, including energy experts, politicians, diplomats and journalists came together to share their insights on the issues related to the European Energy strategy and policy. The participants of the discussion stressed the importance of the completion of the EU Single energy market. The emphasis was also put on the external dimension of the EU energy policy as well as on the necessity to speak with one voice to ensure the security of supply of energy resources to Europe. The next meeting of the Windsor Energy group will take place at the Kuwaiti Embassy in London.
