DARIUS LUKAS PIRAITIS WILL BE PRESENTING A NEW PLAY BY DEA LOHER
6th – 7th September The young Lithuanian theatre director Darius Lukas Piraitis will be presenting Land Without Words, a new play by the multi-award winning German playwright Dea Loher. The play follows a painter’s journey into ‘K’, an enigmatic city in the Middle East, where raw violence and never ending warfare is the norm. Denied the comfortable distance of the western spectator, the unnamed artist begins to question the purpose and duty of art in the face of such horrific human suffering.
