CONGRATULATIONS TO RŪTA MEILUTYTĖ FOR BREAKING THE 2ND EUROPEAN RECORD THIS WEEK

Lithuanian Embassy in London is delighted to share the news on the latest achievements of 16 year old Lithuanian swimmer Rūta Meilutytė. For the second time in less than a week Rūta has added another European Record to her name. Yesterday in Barcelona she swam 50m in 29.96 and broke the 2009 mark helf by Russian Yuliya Efimova. Last Saturday in Monaco she improved her own record in 100m.
