Commemoration of the Shoah in Lithuania at the Embassy in London

Dear Friends,

Each September Lithuania commemorates the day of Holocaust in Lithuania. The brutality of WWII swept the country in 1941-1944 and once a vast Lithuanian Jewish community had been compelled to inhumane suffering and annihilation. Lithuania irreversibly changed - the Lithuanians forever lost their Jewish compatriots, neighbours, friends…We will never forget. On September 18, 2014 at 6.30pm for 7pm start you are cordially invited to the Lithuanian Embassy in London to commemorate the Shoah in Lithuania. Register by 15 September: events@uk.mfa.lt
