Commemoration of the day of the Holocaust in Lithuania at the Lithuanian Embassy in London

Each September Lithuania commemorates the Day of the Holocaust in Lithuania. The brutality of WWII swept the country in 1941-1944 and once a vast Lithuanian Jewish (Litvak) community had been compelled to inhumane suffering and annihilation.
On September 24, 2015 at 6.30 for 7pm start you are cordially invited to the Lithuanian Embassy in London to join us in commemorating the Shoah in Lithuania.
The special guest of the Day is a Holocaust survivor Professor Irena Veisaitė who will share her personal story of the Shoah.
The talk will be followed by Q/A session and the traditional candle-lighting ceremony in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
