Cloth & Culture NOW, a major contemporary textiles exhibition which features new work by 6 Lithuanian artists, as well artists from Estonia, Finland, Japan, Latvia and the UK, will open at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Norwich, on 29 January 2008 and will run until 1 June 2008. The exhibition, which has been curated by Professor Lesley Millar, includes stunning works that use traditional techniques and materials such knitting and embroidery, explorations of new materials and technology, large architectural installations, performance work, video, as well as narrative based and decorative textiles.
