On Saturday, 19 March, 7.30pm, Nonsuch Singers, a London-based chamber music choir will perform an exhilarating programme of luminous Baltic choral music in Baltic Visions, a concert dedicated to the exploration of this rich tradition in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The concert will take place at St Peter’s Church, Eaton Square (119 Eaton Square, SW1W 9AL) and will feature works by Vytautas Miškinis, Arvo Pärt, Urmas Sisask and others.

Recently, the choir performed in such prestigious venues as St Martin-in-the-Fields and the Royal Albert Hall, where it participated in the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.

With Baltic Visions, the choir and its director Tom Bullard strive to unveil the beauty of Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian choral music to London audiences. Baltic choral music has rich and deep traditions hailing from everyday rituals and feasts, music accompanying the transition from life to death. Combining renowned composers like Arvo Pärt and Vytautas Miškinis with creators of contemporary choral music, Nonsuch Singers continues their vision as an immensely innovative and adventurous chamber music choir.
