Canorum Trio to perform in London
Canorum Trio, a Lithuanian chamber music ensemble (Antanas Makštutis – clarinet, Ugnė Tiškutė – Viola, and Jelena Makarova – piano), would like to welcome all music lovers to join them on the 6th of March at 7.30pm at the Brunel Museum in London for an evening of wonderful chamber music performed in the beautiful surroundings of this historically significant venue. The musicians will present works by Mozart, Germanavičius, and Uhl. The well-crafted eclectic programme will allow listeners to fully appreciate and enjoy the unique sound and versatility of this exciting combination of instruments.
Formed in 2012, the Canorum Trio has already established itself as a promising chamber music ensemble. A. Makštutis, U. Tiškutė and J. Makarova are current and past students of the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) in London who have been awarded full scholarships to study at RAM. The distinctive sound of clarinet viola and piano encourages the group to collaborate with young composers from leading music colleges in the UK, as well as perform the standard repertoire. In their performances, the Canorum Trio has demonstrated maturity, professionalism and excelling talent.
