Artworks by Studija Mindiuzarte at START Art Fair, Saatchi Gallery
START Art Fair returns to London's Saatchi Gallery this September, showcasing emerging artists from new art scenes to give art collectors and enthusiasts alike the opportunity to discover artwork from developing global markets. The fourth edition of START kicks off the London autumn arts season and takes place from 14 to 17 September 2017. This year START features Lithuanian art platform Studija Mindiuzarte.
Studija Mediuzarte develops curatorial projects (project TEXTile interpretations), inventing an East - West dialogue (Spanish Dialogues Project). Focusing on textile art, painting, photography and engraving as the creative process of intellectual art (conceptual art), we analyze both visual and textual processes. Differences in methodologies and different artistic points of view facilitate the study of contemporary art and conceptual art with the depth of its contexts. The authors of the projects explore the relationship between text, image, time and space. Migrating between past and present, thinking about the future, create metaphorical structures.
The presentation is partially supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the United Kingdom.
