Antanas Sutkus‘ photograph displayed at the V&A permanent collection gallery

May 15, 2009 - April 2010. The famous image Pioneer by the Lithuanian photographer Antanas Sutkus will be displayed at the permanent V&A collection gallery, which illuminates the history of photography from the earliest years (1858) to new contemporary acquisitions. The opening of a new display coincides with the launch of the new book Antanas Sutkus. Retrospective at the Photographers Gallery (16 - 18 Ramillies Street, London, W1F 7LW (tube: Oxford Circus). Free, no booking), on May 14, 6 pm.
