ANTANAS ŠILEIKA, THE AUTHOR OF THE NOVEL "UNDERGROUND", AT THE LITHUANIAN EMBASSY IN LONDON

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in London will host the presentation of the Canadian author Antanas Šileika’s latest novel Underground on the 17th of April, 2013 at 6.30pm.

About the book:

Underground is the love story of Lukas and Elena, who were members of the underground Lithuanian resistance movement in the mid-1940s. The book was first published in Canada in 2011 and received very positive reviews - it was listed in the Toronto newspaper the Globe and Mail as one of the 100 best books of 2011. In 2012 a translation into Lithuanian was published.
