AMERICAN LITHUANIAN AUTHOR RUTA SEPETYS PRESENTS HER NOVEL "BETWEEN SHADES OF GRAY"

Monday June 11th, 7pm. American Lithuanian author Ruta Sepetys, daughter of a Lithuanian refugee, presents her novel “Between shades of gray” at the Lithuanian Embassy. It is a story about the destiny of the Baltic nations during the Second World War – a part of world history that is too often overlooked. The book has been shortlisted for the 2012 Carnegie medal, the UK's most prestigious children's book award. The presentation will be held in English with Romas Kinka moderating. The event is free but due to limited space, please register via e-mail rita.valiukonyte@urm.lt.
