Ambassador visits Wales

July 14, 2016. The Lithuanian Ambassador Asta Skaisgirytė paid a visit to Cardiff, Wales. At the meeting with the Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones Ambassador discussed the new political situation that has emerged after the EU referendum. With the majority of Welsh population voting to leave the EU, Ambassador Skaisgirytė conveyed her expectations that the rights of Lithuanians in Wales will be further respected.

The Lithuanian diplomat also met with Lord Mayor of Cardiff Monica Walsh and the principal of Royal Welsh College Music Drama Hilary Boulding to discuss cultural cooperation between Lithuania and Wales.
