Ambassador visits ART14 London
On February 27, 2014 the Lithuanian Ambassador Asta Skaisgiryte Liauškienė and cultural attaché Rita Valiukonytė visited global art fair ART14 London.
Held in Olympia's Grand Hall, with galleries from Lagos to Berlin, and from Beijing to Dubai, Art14 aims at building on the success of the inaugural fair that attracted 25,000 visitors. This year Lithuania is being represented by a gallery called "Meno parkas" which can be loosely translated as “Art Park”. “It is a very good opportunity to present the Lithuanian art in London for the international public. I have little doubt that the visitors will be impressed by what they see”, the Ambassador said.
At the gallery's exposition (booth No. K3) works will be presented by Alvydas Lukys, Patricija Gilytė and National Culture and Art Premium winners' Jonas Gasiūnas and Robertas Antinis. In addition, in separate categories "Meno parkas" will present sculpture installation by Tadas Vosylius MONOGAMA and in performance programme - "...life consists of these little touches of solitude..." by Židrija Janušaitė (together with Rosanda Sorakaitė and Laurynas Leonaitis).
The fair continues till March 2nd.
