Ambassador Eitvydas Bajarūnas signed a Book of Condolence for Her Majesty The Queen

Today, on 15th September, the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Kingdom, Eitvydas Bajarūnas, signed a Book of Condolence dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Lancaster Palace in central London.

"On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the United Kingdom, I express my deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the people of Britain and the Commonwealth on the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Lithuanian people warmly remember Her Majesty's visit to Lithuania in 2006. Queen Elizabeth II will always remain a highly respected, extraordinary leader who left a significant mark on European and world history."

The State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday, 19th September. President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė will attend the funeral to pay their respects and bid farewell to the beloved monarch.
