Cultural diplomacy »On the 31st of May 2022 Lithuanian embassy in London organised an online book launch ‘Pagans in the Early Modern Baltic’ by Dr Francis Young. The event initiated a rich and perspective discussion on newly translated Latin texts written between around 1450 and 1580 about the religion, culture and language of the Balts at a time when paganism was still a living reality in the Baltic region.

Establishing a panel is the second step in the WTO’s dispute settlement process, which includes an assessment by three independent experts in trade law to determine whether the measures taken by a WTO member conform with the WTO law.

On 24 January, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis participated remotely in the G7+ Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Ukraine Energy Sector Support at the invitation of the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Landsbergis discussed the need to deliver equipment to restore and strengthen Ukraine’s energy sector due to the Russian attacks with representatives from the world’s largest economies.
