2015 m. liepos 1 d. atkurtos Lietuvos Valstybės pirmasis vadovas profesorius V. Landsbergis Jungtinės Karalystės Parlamento Bendruomenių rūmuose skaitys pranešimą apie ES - Rusijos santykius ir Baltijos valstybių saugumą.

To be addressed by the former President of Lithuania, Professor Vytautas Landsbergis, on “The EU – Russia relationship with special reference to the security of the Baltic States”
President Landsbergis was the first head of state of Lithuania after its declaration of independence from the Soviet Union, and served as the Head of the Lithuanian Parliament, the 'Seimas'. Professor Landsbergis is an intellectual who has been active in Lithuania's political arena for more than two decades, and is a notable politician who helped contribute to the demise of the Soviet Union. He was an MEP for Lithuania from 2004 until 2014.
This is a subject of particular importance in view of recent developments in Eastern Europe, involving a serious Russian threat to the region, and also the European Union's and NATO's response to it.
